#technologyInAction ....Goodbye MS-Paint

Microsoft has called it a wrap, as far as Microsoft Paint is concerned. MS-Paint has been added to the list of features in the “removed and deprecated” list for the Windows 10. Microsoft Paint debuted in 1985 as part of Windows 1.0.

The easy-to-use tool lets users crop and resize images, as well as create simple drawings. Despite its limited features - it can't be used for complicated photo editing or design. As of 2016, Paint still had more than 100 million monthly users. The first consequence of the decision is that Microsoft will no longer actively update the graphic editing software. But this doesn't mean Paint is gone forever. It will be available for free in the Windows Store but won't receive updates. Another application that is being removed in the Windows 10 Update is Outlook Express.

As a replacement for the original Microsoft Paint software, Microsoft released Paint 3D in October. Paint 3D allows users to share their work online.
