Akwa Ibom State University Supplementary UTME admission list is out




Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has released UTME supplementary list of candidates offered provisional admission into her various first degree programmes for the 2016/2017 Academic year.

Instruction to Candidates offered Provisional Admission:
UTME candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to indicate their acceptance of the offer.

Candidates should locate any internet access point (e.g. Cybercafé) across the country and proceed thus:
(1) Visit www.aksu.edu.ng/result  and carefully supply your UTME  registration number. Click on the button GET ADMISSION STATUS. (You may wish to print the admission offer page for your record purpose).
(2) Visit www.aksu.edu.ng/portal to generate the Acceptance Fee Pre-Payment Analysis Slip for Twenty thousand five hundred naira (N20,500) only, by carefully following the steps below:
(a) Click the REGISTER NOW link.
(b) On the Registration type panel, select ADMISSION.
(c) On the left menu panel of the student registration page, click REGISTER NOW.
(e) Ensure you correctly enter UTME or DE registration number and click the VERIFY button.
(d) Click on MAKE PAYMENT in the Payment Status row.
(e) Select BANK OPTION to print the payment analysis slip, for bank payment.
(f) Take the slip generated in (e) above to any of the commercials banks listed on the payment slip and request from the bank teller to make cash payment to Akwa Ibom State University using e-Transact platform.

(3) After payment in bank, return to the University portal to verify your payment status, print the payment receipt and complete your bio-data registration. This is done by clicking on right arrow icon (>) located in front of the PAID button. You will need to also upload your passport photograph, WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result(s).

Note:- Payment of Acceptance fee must be completed within three (2) weeks, from the date of this notice, after which a late penalty charge will apply.

- Candidates who have completed the payment of Acceptance fee are advised to get back to the University portal and process their school fees payment immediately.

    1. in the firs instance, no University in Nigeria has the capacity to admit the entire number of candidates that apply for admission. The is always a limit to the number that each University can admit. Ours is not an exception! sorry if you were not admitted at this time

    Please it was stated that the change to First choice did not affect Direct Entry candidates, and the previous list was tagged as First Choice, what happens hereafter? Should we still expect another lists? Many have gone through the rigorous process of payments and screening exercises with the hope of securing admission via DE, now considering the fact that there was no other means apart from the presentation of approved results and/or certificates as well as other adopted screening processes, isn't it fair that most of these candidates be offered admission? I am hoping that this be resolved and at least the affected candidates be considered. Please consider our plight!
