The second of three US presidential debate takes place latter this evening, two (2) weeks after Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump sparred for the first time. Plenty has happened in the meantime, including the explosive release of a video that has plunged the Republican nominee into a crisis.
Tonight, Hillary Clinton will be hoping to rekindle her convincing success from the first presidential debate when she meets her Republican rival for their second head-to-head - a town-hall style session with questions from audience members, at Washington University, St Louis. The first debate attracted an estimated 84 million viewers, making it the most-watched presidential debate in history. Tonight, will arguably attract an even bigger audience, following the release of a tape in which Donald Trump is heard boasting about groping women.
And there have been plenty of hints what might come up in what is likely to be another bruising encounter. Americans may likely hear more of the following words (or phrases) in the course of the debate: Apology (apologise), Environment, Gennifer Flowers, Interruption(s), Knockout Blow, Lies, No - That's Wrong, Polls, Ratings, country, People, etc.
The debate time is 2am (Nigerian time) on Monday 10/10/2016
